As a family owned and operated insurance brokerage, Buntain Insurance Agencies Ltd. has more than 40 years experience in helping families with all of their insurance needs. In 1967, on the heels of a successful career in the Life Insurance industry, James Buntain was motivated to start his own company. Under his leadership and with the active help of his son and daughter Gordon and Lynn Buntain, his vision has grown to represent four offices throughout Vancouver with highly educated staff that not only incorporates three generations of family but over 30 part time and full time employees.

At Buntain Insurance, we encourage and empower our employees to achieve their goals, provide innovative products and services for our clients, and sponsor community programs. We strive to grow together with our employees, clients and community.  Our dedicated customer service has made Buntain Insurance the proud recipient of the Stars of Vancouver Readers' Choice Award for the past 5 years.

I have cycled most of my life, including riding across Canada (Vancouver to Ottawa) in 1971, I currently ride with a group of men and women(whom I have been riding with for the past 5 to 7 years), every Saturday and Sunday mornings and during the week in the summer. We also rode Seattle to Portland in 2006. I know Geoff Glotman from this group of friends.
