Performance Skills Series: Learn To Race (May 4 & 10, 2016)
Taking the leap into competition can be intimidating for many. This two-part series will introduce advanced group riding skills, and how to apply those skills tactically in races. The first session will focus on racing etiquette, cornering, and basic team work. The second session will have you put those skills to work, at the Escape Velocity WTNC Race, with the guidance of a coach.

Women’s Performance Skills Series: Learn To Ride (May 4, 11, 18, 25, 2016)
For women that want to develop their riding skills to the next level, this clinic will include four sessions led by the Women's Race Ambassador Team. The goal of the clinic will be to help women of novice and intermediate levels gain confidence on the bike, and acquire the skills needed for group riding situations, be it casual group rides, or gran fondos.

Women’s Performance Skills Series: Learn To Race (May 4, 11, 18, 25, 2016)
For women that want to develop race-specific cycling skills and ride strategies, or advance their riding techniques. This clinic will introduce advanced group riding skills and replicate race scenarios. This clinic is ideal for novice racers, riders interested in road racing, or advanced riders that want to accelerate their group riding skills. Participants should be comfortable riding in groups at a moderate to fast pace.

Looking for more rides? Give us your input!

A number of club members have expressed an interest in having scheduled rides during the week and on Sundays. We would like to gauge the level of interest in mid-week rides and learn more about rider preferences before we start scheduling any additional rides. Please take a few moments to complete a brief survey about some of the options for mid-week and Sunday rides.

Our North Shore Ride is hosted on the last Saturday of each month and travels along the north shore route. Ride start location is in the back parking lot of Bean Around the World (522 Marine Drive, North Vancouver), and concludes at Different Bikes West Vancouver. Please note there is no Richmond ride on the last Saturday of each month when the North Shore Ride is hosted. Familiarize yourself with our summer riding routes and schedules on our website.

Photo Gallery Feature: GSC at the Spring Series Races

The racers have been out in full force raking in podium spots each week, capping off a huge success to the Escape Velocity Spring Series Races. Take a look at our featured photo gallery on our website of the many smiling (and a lot of grimacing) faces. We'd especially like to thank Christian Beaudrie (officially talented, unofficial team photographer) for capturing and sharing these photographs.
