Join our season kick-off social event on Wednesday, March 30

The clocks have turned, and allergy sufferers are sneezing away. It's that time again to officially kick-off the season with our annual social event and Annual General Meeting. This year is going to be bigger than ever, and we encourage all club members, and those interested in joining or learning more about Glotman•Simpson Cycling to attend.

All pre-ordered kit and free club jerseys for club members (that registered before March 4) will be available for pick-up at the event after our kick-off presentation. If you missed the window to order your kit, the online store will be open again in late May. For club members that registered after March 4, your free club jersey will be available later in June.

Date: Wednesday March 30, 2016
Location: St. Regis Hotel Bar and Grill (608 Dunsmuir St., Vancouver)
Time: 7 - 9 pm

Our Annual General Meeting will be presented for any interested club members (prior to the official kick-off event) at 6:30 PM.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the event.

Club rides move to summer schedule on April 2

Release the fenders! Our first official group ride of the season will be on Saturday, April 2departing at 8:30 AM. Rides will be led by a club ambassador each week throughout the spring and summer months. We encourage you to visit our website and familiarize yourself with meet-up times, locations, and routes for each ride, and our tips for group riding and safety etiquette.

Summer group ride time is 8:30 AM for all groups, and will follow the Richmond route. Riders may be divided within each group based on skill level and safety. The North Shore Ride is hosted on the last Saturday of each month and travels along the north shore route. Please note there is no Richmond ride on the last Saturday of each month when the North Shore Ride is hosted.

Sunday group rides will be hosted every first and third Sunday of the month in the Fraser Valley. These rides are intended for B level riders.

Take a spin on a weeknight in Stanley Park. The 9 km route circles the park, and is intended to be a no-drop, social ride. Please note, there are no scheduled ride leaders.

Women's group rides will be hosted every second and last Saturday. Rides will follow the club ride schedule and routes. These rides are intended for B level riders.
