Register for the 8th Annual Cypress Challenge now before July 31st for your chance to win a 2-night stay for two at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver in the waterfront neighbourhood of Coal Harbour. What better way to experience the Cypress Challenge weekend than with a relaxing stay in downtown Vancouver? Or maybe treat yourself to a staycation later this summer?

Participants can enter in any of the host of different categories, and can select the option to take on the complete 12km challenge, or a 5km route to the First Lookout. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers and category riders. Entry in the Cypress Challenge is by a minimum suggested donation of $25 for early bird or $40 after August 7th.

The event will benefit the BC Cancer Foundation in support of vital pancreatic cancer research. Over the last seven years, more than $1.2 million has been raised through the Cypress Challenge, fueling the latest breakthroughs in pancreatic cancer research and improving cancer care for patients across the province.

Spin to support with Cadence Cycling Studio this July

The people of Cadence Cycling Studio are passionate about fitness and cycling, but more so about giving back to the community. That's why for the entire month of July all Monday and Wednesday 7:30 pm classes will reserve $5 from every rider to be donated to our Cypress Challenge fundraising efforts. If that wasn't reason enough to participate, riders will also be entered into a raffle draw for some sweet prizes.

Come for the workout, and stay for the perks! On Saturday July 18, Cadence Cycling will feature an open house event, hosting three classes with all proceeds going towards the Cypress Challenge. After your spin, take time to relax in the lounge and enjoy a few extra freebies provided by some local businesses. Hill climb coaching and clinic available to all participants

Don't forget, registered participants can sign up for a coached hill climb clinic from one of Glotman•Simpson Cycling's coaches. All sessions will be hosted from 6 - 8 pm, and will meet atGlotman•Simpson Cycling club office (1637 W 5th Ave). Clinic availability is based on first come first served basis, with one registration per rider.
