On Sunday, August 16 we climb to end pancreatic cancer
We're so excited to announce that the 8th Annual Glotman•Simpson Cypress Challenge is now open for registrations!
Join us on Sunday, August 16 as we climb Cypress Mountain, benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation, in support of life-saving pancreatic cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency.
Welcoming participants of all ages and cycling abilities, the climb is for anyone with the will power to keep pedaling. Choose to ride either 5km to the First Peak or climb 12km to the top of Cypress. Individual cyclists can sign up now for a suggested early-bird donation of $25.
Want to ride as a team? Back by popular demand, register a team of four in the Team Challenge for $500. Register before July 10 and each team member will receive a custom Cypress Challenge jersey with their team logo, and the opportunity to participant in a hill climb clinic from one of Glotman•Simpson Cycling's coaches.
Every dollar we can raise counts to help future outcomes.100% of the funds raised at the Cypress Challenge go toward pancreatic cancer research. In 2014, more than 625 riders helped raise an amazing $415,000. Over the past seven years, this incredible event has built a strong momentum to propel research initiatives to improve the lives of those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in British Columbia. We can't wait for you to be a part of this event, and to see you riding on August 16th!
