PERFORMANCE CYCLING CLINIC SERIES
This series will benefit cyclists of all abilities whether you are new to cycling or a competitive racer. The clinic will cover injury prevention and how to maximize your power output with the correct bike fit. Strategies to improve your diet and fuel your body for optimal performance and hill climb training with coached workouts covering mental and physiological techniques so you can fly up Cypress!
Bob Welbourn will be managing the series: Bob is a cat 2 road cyclist with a passion for climbing. After more than a decade of successful competition both in Canada and the USA he has gained a clear understanding of what it takes to approach ones athletic potential. He has won a Canadian masters national championship, five masters provincial championships in Cyclocross along with many road and XC mountain bike races.
Details: Four part series consisting of two educational sessions and two training rides on Cypress. This is a great way to prepare yourself for our annual fundraiser, the Cypress Challenge!

SESSION 3 & 4
Location: Cypress Mountain at the entrance to the works yard.
Date: Saturday 31st May 2014 and 21st June 2014 9.00am – 10.30am
Bob Welbourn and friends will discuss training techniques and strategies; we will then ride up Cypress while completing a training exercise. The premise of these sessions will be to provide logical and effective training ideas which will help maximize the effectiveness of one’s training program.
COST: $50 for the series – this is a donation to our cause of supporting pancreatic cancer research. 100% of the fee will be donated and you will be provided with a receipt for taxes. There is a limit of 24 participants for this series. SIGN UP TODAY
