A group of GS riders who plan on racing this season met last Monday to learn how the club can help, and to discuss how to get organized.  Race support from the club involves the following:

Ambassadors

They are here to help. The race ambassadors receive support from the club, and in return, they will be out supporting you. Look out for them leading group rides and at races.

Race Day Support

At certain races throughout the season, tents will be set up for warm up, cool down, and just hanging out. A pre race meeting will be held by a race ambassador to discuss the course and tactics for those interested in team racing. Refreshment will be available at the Glotmobile.

Communication

An email list was set up in order for racers to communicate regarding things like rides to races, training sessions, or race tactics.

For people to race effectively as a team, they need to train together, set clear goals, and get organized well ahead of actual race day. If you desired to become more involved in an organized racing component of the club it is suggested that you join the email list to stay informed.
