This past weekend saw an amazing showing of Glotman Simpson Cycling talent as GSC took 5 of the top 6 masters positions!

Following are two perspectives from the trenches:

"Russ and Bob C. set the tempo on the flat section at the beginning enabling Al, Mike and Bob W. to preserve ourselves for the climb. We hit the climb and hid behind Mike until a few hundred meters from the top, then we bravely managed to overtake Mike (I grabbed his jersey and pulled him back while Al made his move!)" - Bob W.

"Mike set an unbelievable tempo all the way up the mountain. Bob took a few turns at the front. Allan was hanging on for dear life and didn’t pull through once, then feebly sprinted past Bob at the last minute." - Allan

The one day domination of Cypress Mountain didn't stop there. Big congratulations also go out to Bart who won the cat 3 race and Tamasin Reno who won the women's novice race!

Clearly a mix of humour and grit is what it takes to win the Cypress Hill Climb.
