Glotman•Simpson Cycling is Vancouver’s largest cycling club committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for riding and racing enthusiasts.  Dedicated in supporting the search to find a cure for pancreatic cancer, the club has raised over $3 million to date benefiting BC Cancer and pancreatic cancer research and care.  

Due to growth, our club is looking for a diligent, organized and professional part-time Coordinator of Membership Services to work with our Executive Director and our dynamic board of directors. 

Reporting to the club’s Executive Director, the successful candidate will be a team player, have strong communication skills, and be willing to pitch in where required with a can-do attitude. This role is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys variety as you’ll be coordinating numerous club activities and managing communication.  

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, abilities + attributes:

  • Previous experience with a cycling club and/or non-profit society of similar scope; 

  • Proficient with Google Drive, Business and Docs, as well as Microsoft Office;

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written;

  • Self-motivated, resourceful and creative;  

  • A high degree of attention to detail; 

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage time effectively.

  • Adapt to changing priorities while remaining organized and thorough.

If this sounds like you, here are some of the things you can expect in your day-to-day:

  • Organizing and managing club communications, including day to day inquiries from members and prospective members;

  • Coordinating general club activities;

  • Setup and ongoing management of Club registration via CCN registration system 

  • Coordinate ride leader sign up for weekly club rides (Sat/Sun)

  • Coordinate member sign up and coaching assignments for essential skills sessions

  • Manage club jersey orders and assisting with club kit orders

  • Liaising with the race, Cyclocross and gravel managers;      

  • Liaise with sponsors to develop newsletter content

  • Organize 2-3 yearly social events

  • Organize 2 yearly local area destination club rides (Baker, Sunshine coast)

  • Assist in organizing GS Fondo teams for local BC Fondos

  • Assisting with various other club activities as they arise.
