As you can see the small wheels on the the BBQ were designed with this exact usage in mind. (Credit: me, myself and I)

When not out training I always find it interesting to cruise the bike routes and lay witness to the Vancouver cycling madness. Most often this is comprised of some form of fixed gear hipsters doing things that defy the imagination of most, today was no accception.

So I was riding along 10th ave, enjoying the sun and taking in the late afternoon when I spotted this beauty. I like to call it "hipster and the BBQ."

A shot of the crew at the Welcome to Mission sign. This was just prior to the half way point and just before the infamous Stave Lake Attack.

Day two of the Men's training camp was an epic day, an out and back century ride to Mission. The spring weather treated us like champs as we had sun all the way. The ride started with an early morning departure from the delectable Pane from Heaven located in the heart of  the Kitsilano area and headed off down Broadway and Lougheed Hwy until we arrived in Pitt Meadows ( a nice 20 km warm up).
