A few weeks ago, we decided that we would conquer Mount Seymour (elevation gain 830m, avg gradient 7.4 %) for the first time this year on our bikes. Coming from the relatively flat terrain of Southern Ontario, it always amazes me to experience how altitude can drastically change weather conditions. At the bottom of the climb it was a typical spring day, and I was taking layers of clothing off before we set out for our climb.
