When not out training I always find it interesting to cruise the bike routes and lay witness to the Vancouver cycling madness. Most often this is comprised of some form of fixed gear hipsters doing things that defy the imagination of most, today was no accception.
So I was riding along 10th ave, enjoying the sun and taking in the late afternoon when I spotted this beauty. I like to call it "hipster and the BBQ."
It was like a ballet watching a fairly sketchy rider, on a fixed gear that was completely over geared trying to get get moving while dragging a rather heavy BBQ with squeaky wheels that didn't role straight. Throw in traffic, pedestrians and stop lights and you have yourself a fine urban ballet.
