CVC Thunderbird Race Route Announced!

Race #13 in the Spring Series takes place in Fort Langley BC. A challenging road race open to all categories!
Parking and facilities will be on the Thunderbird Show Park grounds. The race will start with a neutral roll-out from the Show Park to 73rd Ave and 254th Street.

Registration: $30 – online registration will be available shortly.
Lap Counts (Lap = 9.6km)
“A” – 10:30 Start – 13 laps (125 km)
“B” – 10:33 Start – 10 laps (96 km)
“C” – 10:36 Start – 7 laps (67.2 km)
“Novice” – 12:30 Start – 4 laps (38.4 km)

CVC 2012 First Club Sanctioned Ride Starts on March 11 (daylight saving).
It is the time of the year to dust off your summer rigs and get rid of the cobwebs out of your legs.Carl has some routes planned for us and one of the popular routes,the Ladner’s Bird Sanctuary ride was mentioned for the first club-sanctioned ride.Approximate distance of the ride ~100 Km.Don’t forget to move your time one hour ahead on March 11.
Ride time : 9:00 am
Rendezvous: Bean-Around-the-World coffee on Main St.& 20th Ave.
Intensity : Slow to Medium !
*Anyone trying out with the Club needs to show a CyclingBC membership and a signed waiver form.
CMHA Community Ride is on 24th June,2012.
This date should be circled in your calender and ALL CVC members are expected to participate , rain (unless there is a tsunami alert) or shine.Family members are more than welcome to join in this fun ride.A reminder to some CVC members this ride is NOT a race!
